The item is larger in the belly than it is in the chest. I am active, usually 42R In jackets and the Large is tight in the chest and shoulders but baggy at the stomach. It’s plenty warm and lightweight.

Bought this to replace the old bomber I've been wearing since highschool and the quality of this is unrivaled, Toes on the nose have made the perfect lightweight jacket (in my opinion). PrimaLoft insulation is the best on the market and this jacket will keep you very warm even though it's incredibly lightweight. Looks amazing in the classic design and the fit is perfect.
